Such a long way to go!The sign says that we are following the Hemingway route.These early parts of the French route were very beautiful and pastoral. I love horses, and had to stop for a while to watch these Basque beauties.Foals! Will their curiosity get the better of them? Will Mama let them approach me? Wish I had an apple or a carrot or a handful of grain.Beautiful green pasturesSpringtime, yet the wood is stacked high.The final descent to Zubiri was all downhill shaley slopes like this.
