June 26, 2016: El Burgo Ranero to Mansilla de Las Mullas
In the far distance, we can see mountains ahead and to our right. I sure hope I don’t have to climb those!There is a distressing lack of garbage cans along the Camino, and the ones that are there always seem to be full. There is litter along the way, but not nearly as much as could be expected given the lack of opportunities to dispose of trash along the Way.Maintenance in general sometimes seems to be a problem along the Way.A nice small shrine to the Virgin of the Camino.Interesting church facade with the bells mounted as they are. Reminds me of something. Maybe the facades of some of the Texas missions?
