A beautiful portico…But only ruin inside and……empty spacesAll underpasses have graffiti, and the graffiti almost always includes an homage to the CaminoWe see vineyards and orchards all along the CaminoThese roses are ubiquitous along the Camino, in the most unexpected placesHomeowners along the Camino take great pride in adorning their house facadesAnother view of the same house.Storks build their nests high up on poles of all sorts, including electrical poles.Judging by the number of baby strollers we see in Logrono, the birds are faithfully carrying out their job to deliver babies to families! No plain street lights; all must be adorned! Over the tops of trees and houses church spires reach towards heaven, guiding pilgrims. Finally a sign posted by this lovely clump of roses identifies them as “Camino Roses,” which seems to be their official name.An elderly gentleman sits down beside me and begins feeding the doves, who flock around him. They eat out of his hand
